PCTEx Building, Badajoz

It houses the management team of FUNDECYT-PCTEx (the park’s managing entity) and serves as the main incubator for innovative companies and organizations.
The PCTEx Building in Badajoz is home to over 60 innovative companies and entities, offering offices with access to high-capacity internet.

CEINNTEC
Opened in 2012
A cutting-edge 3,000 m² space designed to boost the ICT business sector in Extremadura.
Located on the Badajoz campus, CEINNTEC stands out for its innovative architecture.
The Centre for Research and Development in Information and Communication Technologies, CEINNTEC, hosts the regional headquarters of INDRA Software Labs and is home to “La Atalaya,” the location of the Extremadura Open Future initiative, a entrepreneurship support programme promoted by the Regional Government of Extremadura and Telefónica. Additionally, major companies such as Inmofocus, Findder, Eficiae, and Mecalux Software are also located here.
PCTEx2 Building
Over 3,000 m² of space
Located on the Badajoz campus, adjacent to the PCTEx Building.
The building was acquired by FUNDECYT-PCTEx in December 2017, and the former CTIEX building was renamed as PCTEx2, expanding the range of spaces for companies wishing to establish themselves in the park.
The building has been fully occupied since March 2019.

The Park in Cáceres
The Science and Technology Park of Extremadura in Cáceres is located on the city’s university campus.
It forms a dynamic ecosystem where science, technology, and business converge, sharing the environment with the CIIAE (Iberian Centre for Energy Storage Research) and INTROMAC (Technological Institute for Ornamental Rocks and Construction Materials).
Cáceres is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasts an enviable natural habitat, offering a high quality of life and an unbeatable location for business.

PCTEx Building, Cáceres
Opened in 2012, the Cáceres Science and Technology Park building is a 6,000 m² innovation centre.
It houses the regional headquarters of VIEWNEXT’s CENITs Centre (a subsidiary of IBM) in Extremadura, with over 350 employees.
In 2015, the lower floors were renovated, improving electricity, telecommunications, air conditioning, and lighting, facilitating the rapid installation of Ilunion and Homeria Open Solutions, a spin-off from the University of Extremadura.
In 2017, Gamma Solutions occupied an additional 1,200 m², and in early 2018, the multinational Worldline Iberia completed the building’s occupancy with 180 m².
Today, the building is fully occupied, established as a hub for technology companies.
Incubator TAJO Building
In 2018, the PCTEx Building in Cáceres reached 100% occupancy. To meet demand, FUNDECYT-PCTEx, in collaboration with the University of Extremadura, renovated the Tajo Building on the Cáceres University Campus.
By the end of 2018, the renovated building was ready to host innovative companies such as Accenture and Ambling.
This infrastructure also offers a coworking space for 12 business initiatives.
It features a shared area for work and events, called the Ágora.
